Flydubai co-pilot's Australia links under investigation

Oct 05, New Delhi(Rights Media): A multi-agency Australian counterterrorism unit is investigating the links to Australia of the co-pilot of the Flydubai flight.

Two sources briefed on the investigation said the co-pilot studied at a university in Melbourne, the capital of the Australian state of Victoria.
A third source said he studied at Melbourne’s Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) around a decade ago.

RMIT confirmed that the co-pilot had been enrolled at the university but did not successfully complete an engineering qualification.
